  Environment ASP or ASP.NET site is running on IIS 7.5. SQL Server 2008 R2 Express (10.50.1600.1) running on Windows 2008 Server R2 (W2K8 R2) x64.     Problem You will see one of two errors depending on whether you dealing with ASP or ASP.NET sites. On ASP.NET sites you will see  “Server Error – Error: 26 – Error Locating Server/Instance Specified” Server Error in '/YourApps' Application. Just an hour ago your were a happy browser.  Everything worked great. All of a sudden, all the background colors are gone from all web pages on all sites. Pages are now looking bald and stripped.  What just happened?   If you are on Windows 7, I know the answer. You are in a “High Contrast” mode. To get out, press three buttons "Alt + left Shift + Print Screen" all at the same time.   Cheers.

Very First Experience with Firefox (up to 3.6.12)

Time to Try New Things I just learned that 45% of all my visitors (over the last week) are using Firefox (FF).  And only 5% stayed with Internet Explorer (IE). So, after all these years I am finally ready to try this one.  I downloaded and installed Firefox 3.6.11.  By the time I am finishing this article (2010-11-01 MO) a new Firefox 3.6.12 is out and available.
