Precondition:
– you have your old US passport (doesn’t matter current or expired).
Procedure:
01 File out a form online and print PDF to a printer
02 Collect these things:
—A personal check for $110,
—B current US Passport,
—C the printed form
03 Picture
If you have a picture – you are all set.
If you do not have a picture, go to participating US Post Office and they help you with a picture.
At the post office they will take your picture and now you can place everything on an envelope and expect to receive your new passport in 2 weeks.
04 – Send all this to Passport Processing center in Philadelphia.
My express mail postage was $5.75.
I’ve sent my old passport with form, one picture and check on Wednesday, Jan 06, and I receive my new passport on Saturday, January 16, 2016. 10 calendar days.
