We didn’t have any newbies today.  Only our hard core group members played today. We started at 09:32. By 09:35 the score was 3:0 for WHITEs.  By 10:22 the score was 7:0 and Serezha entered for DARKs, and Vladis Sh. switches for WHITEs. DARKs scored their first goal only at 10:30 – a far away volley from fresh Erick (8:1). No one can claim that it was a lucky game for DARKs.  Not only Lenia G., but everyone had a miserable time upfront.  Ball refused to cooperate. Wednesday morning game is on track this week to gather at 06:30AM and to start at 7:00AM.  We have 8 replies and Dr. Yurik will collect all the phone numbers. We’d love to have two more participants. We split into 2 games.  An 8×8 game went to a small set of goals, and a 6×6 game remained on a large set of goals. Last time Georgi waited half an hour on sidelines; today new guy Michael Za. did not.  Explanation could be probably found in the status.  Georgi was like a heavy metal star.  Even a little bit of Georgi could through the game out of balance.  Any other explanations? Today’s game lasted very close to 2 hours straight (09:32 -11:28).  Weather was something to dream about -warm, sunny and green.  By 09:37 Dr. Yurik scored a first header from Erick, but DARKs were gathering their strength. This Wednesday we still have Summer Time. See many of you at 17:00. We played a low count game today – very good.  Everyone had a chance to shine.  Even those who didn’t show (by preserving their high points). WHITEs started chipper with a 2:0 lead (09:41), but were trailing by 3 goal soon thereafter – 2:5 at 10:11.  Dean scored one of those amazing goals, almost as beautiful as Zhenia V. last week. Today we had an interesting “Middle of the-game” “come-to-justice” experience.  Let’s call a useful team-building activity.  Everybody was actively engaged, everybody had an opinion, and everybody was looking for the good of Thou neighbor.  Good, excellent, constructive. We started at 09:30.  At 09:45 Dr. Yurik scored an important 1:2 goal, but negative slide continues – 1:4.  Finally at 10:09 Georgi switches for WHITEs and Yura D. goes for DARKs.  31 minutes later (10:40) Georgi scores a turning point goal (2:4), and quickly (another 31 minutes) WHITEs tie the game at 6:6 (11:11). Next Wednesday is also falls within Daylight Saving Time.  So next Wednesday, November 3, 2010 we have one more last game of the season. On Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 2 a.m., Daylight Saving Time ends. With all the efforts to start early, we started at 17:30.  At 17:48 Tim F. goes to DARKs and Stas M. and Lenia G. starts for WHITEs.  Now we perfect have 5 on 5 teams, and Lou immediately brings a 3 point lead for WHITES – 4:1. Do we have 8 people to play this Wednesday at 17:00?  It would be last evening game of the season.  Make yourself known. WHITEs started ballistic.  Zhenia V. kept scoring from every position and with every touch of the ball.  WHITEs were leading 2:0 and 3:1. Vlad T. and Misha T. both started for DARKs and were quickly out on injuries very early on.  Igor Gr. switched for DARKs at 09:45. That was a serious blow for WHITEs.  Deadly! Last Wednesday we did not have enough players.  We still played, but nothing official.  We stopped around 18:25.  For this coming Wednesday please identify your intention to play.  It will be the LAST Wednesday evening game before switch to Winter time.  Lost and found are at the bottom of this message.
